I also used to buy "skinny" cakes or coffees thinking I was safe. Clever marketing that. It would be like if Mcdonalds started calling it a "healthy big mac" I'm sure there's some money to be made in helping fast food to revamp their image... ummmm. For example, they could jump onto the green bandwagon and call then "earth fries" or an "eco-apple pie" I'd better not continue. I'll just give them ideas. They have eyes/ears everywhere...

Hello there,
I saw on this site that some of the food had lower numbers in calories and other details than another site.
ie: Mozzarella Panini on this site= 530 cals whereas on another starbucks nutrition site it says it's 903 cal!
Can you please tell me which is true, and how you know for sure?
honestly, i prefer reading your site bc i love that sandwich but the other one is making me feel bad and telling me what I should know to stay healthy.

Thank you so much for this information!

I was horrified this morning after purchasing what I thought were sensible choices - a tall skinny cappucino and a skinny lemon poppy seed muffin. I might as well have bought a cinnamon swirl or lemon drizzle cake or a belgian chocolate brownie or a pain au raisin or a butter croissant! Come on! The reason why I chose the darn muffin is because of the word - SKINNY!! I think this is false advertising! Granted it's not as many calories as the full fat blueberry or rise and shine muffins (the latter of which looks deceptively healthy!) BUT it certainly should not be called SKINNY!!

I think I'll contact Starbucks with regards to this!

Thank you again!
