No breakfast.

1:10pm Marks & Spencers vegetable wrap + orange melon + water

Eaten on a train on the way to a meeting. I would normaly have held off eating until afterwards but knew that I’d have eaten a lot more if I’d waited.

All the nice M&S cheese sandwiches had at least 450 calories in them. I would have liked a smoothie but they had the same calories as one of my snacks. I couldn’t face another egg sandwich so tried this vegetable wrap.

“Chargrilled vegetables with red pepper and harissa puree, carrot chutney and creamy pomegranate dressing on a soft flatbread”

Very tasty – I would have it again – although it would be better if it wasn’t chilled.

9pm Waitrose vegetable curry with spinach and carrot pilau rice + raita + mandarin + pint of squash

Frank and I shared the rice (350g) but I had the whole curry (400g). The nutritional information for both was given as half packet serving sizes on the packaging.

Ah, it was nice having enough calories left over to have a proper meal. What a treat. And I finished eating several minutes after Frank did!
