Turbulent Tuesday
Today was easy to keep under 2k as I felt horrible at lunch time and really just fancied soup. Unfortunately coconut milk has a lot more calories than I had expected – I’ll know for next time. I didn’t do my workout so really I shouldn’t have had any wine. I didn’t clear my plate either but I can’t really see a sensible way of measuring that without grossing myself out.

Are you keeping a note of the items that are a high calorific value?
For the most part, dieting over the years has taught me which things to avoid, but I was still caught out last night by how many calories was in 200g portion of rice I ate with my dinner!

Yes, that’s the really useful thing is that I’m learning what I need to avoid – so for the beef dish I knew the egg noodles would be a bit painful – but I was a bit disappointed to find how much higher they were compared to Paola’s chart. I bet the Spanish are putting olive oil in again, or something. I’ll need to go to the shops and compare different types.
