Goals Week 4

I know, I’ve not made it through Week 3 yet, but I’m out of time and we’re leaving in the morning and I am in the process of triage, now.

While I’m away, I will only have sporadic internet access but I will have my notebook – so I’ll write down everything I eat and post the lists here.

The point is that I will feel accountable – it’ll be all restaurant food and we’re being taken out three or four times so I don’t expect to “do well” particularly. But if I know I’m reporting back, I’ll think twice about going overboard.

That’s the plan anyway.

I’m out of time so here’s yesterday as a quick list:

Can’t count!

Damn! Before I decided to sprinkle some cheese onto my pasta, I made a point of adding up my total to see if I had enough to spare and it looked like I did. After my meal, I created the table and that’s when I remembered the Ferrero Rocher and also to add my usual 50 cals for drinks (I mostly drink 0 cal drinks or water, but have a couple of cups of tea during the day too). That, of course, then took me over the limit. Damn!

On the upside, I registered just a little under 12,000 steps on my pedometer. I went over to the park with three work friends and ate lunch al fresco on one of the grassy areas (I keep a picnic blanket under my desk for this — first time it’s been used this year). And after work, I did my walk through the park which was lovely this evening. I’m really enjoying the warm weather and clearly so is everyone else! :-)
