Dinner out didn’t break the bank (much)

I had a hospital appointment about my left foot and ended up doing a lot of walking today (to Richmond to get a bus to Isleworth, then from the bustop (the bus turns off about half a mile before the hospital) and from the hospital to Syon Lane station). It was an active day at work, so I clocked up 12,400 steps on the old pedometer.

I also went out to dinner with a friend to Pizza Express tonight. I was very good and just ate half the pizza (the calorie count is a pure estimate) and had an apple juice with it. If I’d avoided the roll at lunchtime, I could have stayed within my daily calorie count.

I was very impressed with Glo, the noodle bar Lucy and I went to for lunch. The portions were normal, not huge and a lot of the food seemed quite healthy. (It didn’t stop me from finishing the bit of naan bread she didn’t want to eat)
