Eating at 10:00pm was a mistake. Eating a whole sandwich was a mistake. But the thing is, I was just really hungry. I had a very long day and dinner just didn’t hold me. *shrugs* I refuse to feel bad about it. It wasn’t overeating… I was hungry and I ate. Tomorrow I’ll try to keep my calories down.

Home-made veg soups are a great way to full you up on those occassions. You can have a huge bowl of soup that’s under 150 calories.

Do you have the time/energy to shop around for sliced bread with fewer calories?

Truth be told, I haven’t worried much about lowcal bread simply because I very rarely eat it. It just so happened that last night I wanted a sandwich, so I indulged. But bread is not in my usual repertoire, as it were. The soup suggestion is a good one, but one I’ve not had the “time/energy” to follow up on recently. I’ve purchased all the items necessary for the carrot/apple soup that you suggested some time ago, but the time to make it hasn’t presented itself. It’s on plan for Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. I’ve got my fingers crossed. :)

Allow an hour to make the soup – chopping and cooking. Freeze some for later into portions (freezer bags will do, once cooled) – 14oz will be a filling portion.
