Mmmmm….

Like Sylvia, I too received a lovely package from Paola today! Mine was a complete surprise and I was utterly thrilled! Even though I *had* to try one of everything upon opening it, because all of the treats inside were very low cal, I still managed to stay under my calorie allotment for today. :) I adore everything, but I’m definitely having a love affair with the cracker bread. So good. Thank you again, Paola!

Re: hot chocolate: I’m going through the different flavours at a much too rapid a rate – especially considering we’re in the middle of a heatwave!

(also on J’s blog) I use the hot chocolate as a tool – when I fancy eating but don’t want to (because it’s too near bed-time or recently eaten) I will have a lo-cal flavoured hot chocolate because the strong taste is the closest thing to eating – I find it gets me over the irrational gotta-eat-something-now urge.

Heh, I can see the crackerbreads are a hit! It would be great if you could find a source in the US — they wouldn’t be cheap, but they’d be a great treat! :-)

I only discovered recently that they’re a Ryvita product. But the US Ryvita web site only has the traditional Ryvitas (dark, hard, with dimples).
However, I think that once one knows a product exists, one can look-out for them at shops. I find it hard to believe that someone doesn’t do crisp breads in the US.

Yay! I found some cracker breads here. They are made by Wasa and look to be very similar to those that Paola sent me — only 20 calories per slice. :)
