12:30pm Cottage cheese sandwich with capers and sun-dried tomatoes + coffee
Late on this week’s food shop – looking for bulk and flavour from the little that’s left in the fridge and cupboards.

Afternoon drink: pint of squash
3:20pm Curried veg and bean soup with Crackerbreads w/spread
Two tins of tomatoes, one tin of red kidney beans, carrot and cabbage. Liquidized to see if it’ll stay in my stomach for longer, thus delaying hunger.

I have been having Crackerbreads with a light butter-type spread for a few weeks now as there’s something rather magical about the combination of a bready product with a butter(-style) spread. I worked it out now as 62 calories for two Crackerbreads (40 calories) with 6g spread (22 calories).
+ frozen yoghurt fruit lolly
Btw, I made 8 lollies using 3 apples, 2 bananas, sultanas, fake sugar and low-fat yoghurt. I’ll work out the calories when I make the next batch as the lollies take longer to eat than a piece or two of fruit. I usually make them with just bananas and yoghurt. The addition of apples make them wetter but adds texture and a nice flavour.

4:30pm Hungry again! Disappointed.

1am Hot chocolate
I’m hungry but would rather lose weight than eat. And knowing I’ll be posting my food diary helps resist temptation.
