Big bowl as I have lots of salad stuff to get through and I don’t like throwing food away.

Afternoon drink: half pint of squash

I received a difficult phone call in the afternoon (don’t worry, no one’s died). I felt like having a chocolate bar afterwards (we have plenty in the house for Frank). Instead, I went for an afternoon stew and a big salad in the evening.

I know that I don’t often praise myself but I am really proud of myself for not succumbing to a chocolate binge when I was upset earlier.

  1. Well done! I find it so tempting to self-medicate with calories, especially wine. :P

    You’ll laugh but I’ve been thinking about the chocolate drinks you sent me. I’m not having any until I’m back at a strict calorie count – so I start with a reward. :)
