Day 272: Curried soup

10:45am  Ham salad sandwich + tea + apple

It’s cold here and I put the apple in the microwave for 30 secs to take the chill off. It was really nice although it oxidised quickly.

I know you had that little feeling of wanting to eat more after the soup, try adding a little bit of potato mash powder/flakes in the soup – it works to thicken up the soup and give it that artificial heavy feeling that satisfies without too many calories… I use it in my lentil and squash soups sometimes. I try not to now as potato is a forbidden veg for me now …
