We were at Innovate ’08 all day today, “the business of shaping our world“. Lunch and refreshments were provided. As seems to happen before these all-day things, I didn’t sleep well the night before and got up at 6am after waking up much earlier.
It still surprises me that a small bowl of cereal has the same calories as one of my cheese salad sandwiches.
10am Danish pastry + coffee
11:30am Biscuit + coffee
1:45pm Potatoes with dressed salads + sparkling water
The vegetarian lunch option was tortellini. My carbs choice was potatoes or rice from the meat serving area. I remembered that potatoes had fewer calories. The shredded salad was lovely; lots of different things including mange tout.
3pm Cake + coffee
The original plan was to have a piece of Frank’s but I decided to have a whole portion. And very nice it was too.
7:30pm Cottage cheese salad + pint of fizzy squash
Actually, I was feeling nauseous at this time but I wanted to eat and so I did.
