11:30am Turkey and soft cheese salad sandwich + satsuma + tea
Afternoon drink: pint of fizzy squash
1:40pm Pumpkin soup with mozzarella, crackers and yoghurt + prunes
Roasted butternut squash, sweet potatoes, red onions, garlic, tomatoes and apple.
4:50pm Mixed salad + pint of fizzy squash + tea
Lettuce, tomato, sun-dried tomato, cucumber, cottage cheese, sunflower seeds, sultanas with lemon juice and olive oil.
Afternoon drink: cofee (brr!)
8pm Tesco Value tinned spaghetti with cheese and toast + tea
The toast with Flora spread was a rare treat!
10:30pm Amarula Fruit Cream Liqueur + Thin Crisp snack
A full glass of Frank’s liqueur on ice. And then, as an afterthought for something salty (in the absence of nuts), four Thin Crisp with Quark and sweetcorn relish and plum chutney.
And, then, I regret to say, I had the whole thing again (another glass of liqueur and four crisp breads), feeling quite sick afterwards. I didn’t start the new year as I mean to go on!
